Don DeHart gently applies Silvadene Cream to a burned boy. Keeping the burns clean, medicated and wrapped for protection are a big part of the activities at the For Haiti with Love 24-hour emergency medical clinic.
Burned babies are too frequent a sight, sometimes quite extensive. People often ask, "Why so many burns?" The answer is as complex, of course, as the culture. Accidents happen and where there are a lot of people and a lot of open fires, there are a lot of burns.
