Jole Mountain
First it was a church for this very remote mountain area, not even a village. Then there was a school. Everyone said it couldn't be done, but nothing is impossible for God. The people wanted this so badly that all of the materials were carried up by hand or by horse. The memory lingers on as the people sang hymns that reverberated through the mountains witnessing their joy in helping with this project. Feeling of accomplishment? That puts it mildly. The American team that went down to help with the church slept in tents and bathed in the cold mountain stream.
